Aim of course
– to provide the diver a deep personal experience of underwater archaeological sights
– to give a comprehensive information on underwater cultural heritage
– to educate qualified multiplicators for the idea of protection underwater cultural heritage
– to teach methods of archaeological sciences which can be used by sports divers
– to provide contactless documentations techniques


Student performance objectives
By the end of the course the diver should
– be familiar with the general archaeological methods under water
– know sights and groups
– have worked on an underwater archaeological task (project)
– have written a report on the project he/she had practically worked on


Prerequisites for participants (minimum requirements)
– age of 16 years
– PTRD 2 Star Diver or equivalent
– valid medical certificate
